The Bariatric & Metabolic Center Of Colorado

Wish i could give a negative score. I am the husband of a patient that was seen by Dr Long. My wife will no longer attend Dr Long's clinic due the inept PA Kaitlyn working there. The stories I hear are just unreal, and the fact nothing is getting done astounds me. When people ask me of a good bariatric team, I tell them to steer clear of the bariatric and metabolic center of Colorado, go somewhere where the patients concerns are dealt with on a compassionate level, not by some PA who belittle patients, and offers absolutely zero to the program. I kinda wish my wife went somewhere else to get the help and support, instead of being stuck with Kaitlyn.

I was very nervous going into this appt., with lots of questions. All the staff that I encounter were very kind and calming. Dr Long was very friendly, was a great listener, and answered all my questions. After talking with Dr. Long I felt less nervous and more excited about the process I was about to embark on.

Dr Longs office seems to have a lot of turnover. It is a bit nerve racking. His surgery scheduler Sariyah (i always butcher her name, Im so sorry) has been the most consistent and helpful staff member there from beginning to end of surgery. Dr Long has a gentle and knowledgeable demeanor in your surgical consult, preop and in the hospital that just makes you know that youve picked the right surgeon. Caitlin, his PA has also been helpful in helping me with some of the post op issues Ive been suffering with also.

I am so impressed with bariatric and metabolic Center of Colorado. I was fearful of having surgery, but their staff answered all my questions and made sure I was at ease before I moved forward in my decision. After surgery, not only the staff, but Dr Long went above and beyond making sure that my healing process and future progress we're on track. I would recommend them to anyone who is contemplating, but fearful of surgery. It is so worth it. It's already changing my life for the better.

The whole team that works with Dr. Long is absolutely amazing! They walk with you step by step and are always eager to answer any questions no matter how big or small.
