Days Inn by Wyndham Grand Junction

The most uncomfortable stay Ive ever had. Came her last minute due to drowsy driving from a road trip. With over a 1000 miles to go and 4 children decided to stop at the first place we saw. Room was cheap on a Wednesday night under $100 so I wasnt expecting it to be fancy. But I did expect it to be clean and mold free. The stench of mold and filth kept me up all night. The large cockroach that greeted me in the morning was the last straw. Do your self a favor and avoid this place. This is hotel is for drug addicts the desperate.

If I wasn't sooooo tired when we got in at 4:30am we would of gone somewhere else. Requested a late check-out, they said 11:30 was the latest they could do and they still tried to key into the door at 11:10. The tub hadn't been cleaned in the last year... at least. Brown stains on the floor and wall around the toilet. Broken tiles on the floor. Walls were unfinished on the edges and floor. Had the feel if we brushed against any of the walls they would crumble to our touch. Almost horror movie level. Noteworthy details: Never going back!!!

Room smells like cigerette smoke, dirty, I found long. Black hair on my towel , sink has a weird stain, microwave not working , shower tin is either not clean or stained. I would not recommend this place. Rooms: Awful, not clean and smell of cigarette smoke, towels had long black hair on it, shower tub dirty or stained, bed sheets were wrinkled and un kept. I

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! The place is rundown. There is NO hot breakfast at this hotel and all the photos are misleading. I reserved a room in advance online based on the photos (I dont always trust reviews-BUT THESE REVIEWS ARE TRUTH). To my surprise the breakfast room was only cold breakfast, very light. I didn't want to stay there since I like to stay at hotels with hot breakfast, I asked for a refund and was blown off by both the customer care and days inn employee. Apparently the staff cannot get ahold of management. In the end I made a complaint and disputed the charges with my credit card company. Between the false photos of the place and no help from staff, I will ensure no one else is misled while searching for a hotel in this area. There is a Comfort suites and LaQuinta in the area. Radisson had bad reviews and the place looks like it needs updates. Really with these managers would check on their properties.
