VERY BAD experience at St. Marys. My mother is a patient (terminal cancer) and we watched her scream and writhe in pain for 4+ hours with no relief. No doctors responded for 5 hours. We requested to speak with floor doc multiple times, GI docs,Oncology, Pallative care, Case manager, floor manager, patient advocates, etc. with no response from any of them. The nurses were very patient and aided us as much as they were able but could not help without dr. orders in this situation.

We just had our first baby and this hospital went above and beyond for both mom and babys care. Everyone on the labor, delivery, and pediatric staff really cared about the health of me and the health of my baby. I actually felt a little pampered by the end of our stay and the only reason I wanted to leave was because wed already been there 4.5 days. Stay that extra day, moms! Its worth it.

Was in the hospital three years ago with a TBI, last night I fell and hit my head again as well as busted my shoulder muscle very hard. My shoulder pain was incredible but my anxiety that I was about to have another extended head injury stay and possibly brain surgery was way worse. I will forever be thankful for Audry X-ray tech and Amanda the ER nurse, calmed me down significantly, laughed at all my jokes, helped me feel safe and worked patiently with my abilities and disabilities. They were so incredible. Review update 03/29/2024 I was welcomed by the wonderful Katie, who was working in a "greeting desk" directing people on the second floor of the medical pavilion. She made me feel very welcome and was very kind. She was wearing flower earrings that brightened my mood and cheered me up before I had to turn in paperwork for a disability claim. I expressed those helped me. As I was leaving the building, she stopped me so she could give my a little bag of Easter candy. I actually really needed those this morning and she blew my mind with her ability to fully satisfy the customer. She is an awesome part of the staff here at intermountain health. Thank you, Augustus.

I had went there for a heart arrhythmia which I know I have, it's a diagnosed issue for me and usually I can ride it out. I had to go here because after 30 minutes of riding it out it didn't subside like it normally does. I know my condition well, it's been a life long issue, however it can be dangerous if not treated properly. I got checked in and sat in the waiting room for just shy of 2 hours. Not something I'd expect for an emergency department. I've had better care from lower budgeted hospitals. Disappointing to say the least, I assume if you're actively dying they might be more compassionate but if you're seeking relief from an emergency situation and are upright and concious this isn't the place.
