I can say without question this is the best home care provider in the Grand Valley.

This company treats it's clients like they don't matter. I would not recommend them to anyone. Their care givers are wonderful, but the people who run the show leave a lot to be desired. I cannot tell you the amount of times that I have called their office and not received a response regarding care givers not showing up when they were scheduled to because the office had changed the schedule and not notified us, the client. Not making up the time that was taken away from us each time they decided to 're-schedule' a care giver without notification to us. The last time happened last week. Care givers schedule was rearranged to show up an hour and a half later than what was originally scheduled, with no notification to us, than he left when he normally would have which means we were shorted 1.5 hours of time. We have been with this company for about a year. We stay with them because my husband loves his care givers. It is very frustrating for me, his wife, who counts on the scheduled time to make needed appointments for myself. My husband is a veteran. He has been approved for 13 hours of home care time. When we get it, we only get 12 hours, which means that they are cheating us of an hour per week and have been all along. I have called repeatedly asking about this with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE. VA is now looking into it.

Initial call was very professional. Two hours of intake/setup. Rate discussion felt like bait and switch. Have had similar experience with other agencies. Two mornings of no show and no call. Guess no service, moving on. Thank you for the apology! It appears we have some major communication issues. We talked about possibly only weekdays, nothing I have seen set that as what we were doing. When I talked to owner Mike yesterday about the no show he said you would be calling Alexis today to make sure she did not oversleep again. I understand rates can be different depending on levels of service. This is the first communication I have heard that from you. I understand capitalist healthcare has its challenges, including our current staffing shortages and high demand. I get the sense you are a good company, but have not had a good experience overall so far. I will upgrade rating if we experience what I think you are capable of. Update/Adjustment: After a rocky start we have had a week and a half of outstanding service. Alexis has been awesome! Alexis is a self-starting hard worker. Alexis has been a true blessing at this challenging time for our family. Thank you to BrightStar and Alexis! If not for the very rocky start, I would give a 5+ star rating. I hope BrightStar works the bugs out and continues this great service for many years. As the testimony of BrightStar to their beginning says, there are many poor providers out there in the healthcare world. Capitalist healthcare leaves a lot to be desired. BrightStar proves it can work!
