I've been using Marcolina Tax for a long time and am always impressed with the competence and speed in which they operate. They go above & beyond, double checking things with me & often working outside of regular hours to get the job done! I own a small business and Linda has helped me and guided me thru out the year to make sure I'm not caught off guard at tax time. Cant recommend them enough!

I can definitely agree on other reviews for Linda Marcolina Tax. She has been very good to me over the last 12 years doing my taxes. Never had an issue and got my Taxes right on time and loved catching up her. This year was a little different filing my Taxes with this company. I had scheduled an appointment, went in, took all my needed paperwork. Speaking with Linda we did not submit on the taxes that day. I had to make a final decision and I would call her the next day. Went in a few days later and signed off on paperwork . Few weeks later I was going over my taxes because it seemed as if it was taking longer then expected. I had noticed that direct deposit was not marked But I would receive a paper check. Then looked at my address on my Taxs papers from LM Taxes and seen my old address. I looked through all my paper work and my W2 had my correct address, so why was this missed? I immediately called the office to explain what I found wrong, I wasnt mad, I wanted an answer on how can we fix this. Mistakes happen. As Im explaining to her assistant Lori, first thing that came out of her mouth was. Well its your fault you signed off on the papers. I was so surprised to actually hear that. Other words were exchanged and at the end of the conversation Lori offered no help to who I should call, here is a phone number or even hey we guarantee or work so we will correct the mistake. So of course I got online, went to the post office see if I can forward my mail again. I was definitely lost, nothing like this has ever happened because it should have been directly deposited as it does ever year. Finally I figured out myself I had to call the State and Federal, stayed on hold for almost 3 hrs, to give them my new address. And doing that its a process to cancel the first check, reissue a new check and send it out. Another 4-6 week process. And they couldnt direct deposit it. Of course I was upset at this point. But ok again mistakes happen and its in Gods hands. So I called the office back and spoke with Lori again and told her what I found out and how to resolve it and hey maybe this is a learning experience for all of us. I apologize to Lori for our previous conversation because I respect Linda and support her and her business. I continue to ask Lori if Linda would wave her fee this year due to everything that happen and I basically figured out on my own how to receive my own money. Lori called a few weeks later requesting payment. Again I asked if Linda was going to wave the fee. She said No Linda wont. Ok so I took it upon myself to reach out to Linda via email to see if ok she did do the work, I did all the leg work so I asked if she would talk 1/2 payment (her fee is $345.00 1/2 would be $172.50) She told me it wouldnt be fair to cut her cut her paycheck for 1/2 for the work she done. I told her Linda since all this happen I havent even heard from you, or you gave me no guidance to what I need to do to receive my money nor did you try to guarantee your work and fix it. She told me it wouldnt have been fair because its her busy season. And so on. At the end of the conversation she said ok pay me what you feel I deserve and call Lori with the payment. At this time I still have not received my state taxes but I did receive my Federal m by mail 4 weeks after I called to change my address. (Filed my taxes February 27- email with Linda April 27th) Week of 5/23 I received an invoice form Lindas office for payment of $345.00. I spoke with Lori again and stated from mine and Linda previous conversation I would pay half witch I thought was fair. Lori said Linda did not agree to that and I owed $345. I said ok I will email Linda and make sure we are all on the same page. She said Linda can call me back when she has a moment. Ok speaking with Linda and she was upset again but agree to 1/2 payment but I was no longer her Client. Lori got back on the phone to get my CC info. Then told be I should be ashamed, and I would want my paycheck cut in 1/2 for my work. And hung up on me.
