If you have to go to a movement. This is the one to hit. You usually can sleep in the lot, and catch a shower. Some of the members are pretty lame like the staff, but in a pinch it will do.

This gym has been known in the past to re-paint their holds in doors without adequate air flow and currently (June 1) more than half the gym will be closed for no less than a week. Time frame for closure is 7a-5p but don't bother. This review is being posted at 6:15 and the closed portion is still closed. We moved up-stairs for a less unreasonably-packed experience and were forced to leave that area at 6 because they had scheduled a class. Avoid this gym at all costs unless you want to be excessively disappointed. Accurate gym ratings are: 0/5, 0/10, 2/100

Movement has fun climbing and lots of theoretical amenities, but my struggles with this gym have to do with the continuously raising costs while it feels like the gym is slowly getting worse. Equipment is often broken and takes weeks or months to fix. I'm writing this from one of the two functional treadmills, out of five. All the while the gym only gets more crowded, which should keep down costs, but instead my monthly membership has increased $10 per month over the course of the year I've been climbing here. If there was another option in the area for roped climbing without a half hour drive I'd be down to take it, but the 3 closest gyms to where I live are all Movement, and it really feels like they're trying to exert their monopoly power.

You know what really grinds my gears? Being asked to leave collateral with the front desk to use an exercise band. I get that people walk off with these things but it looks like a rogue fitness band costs $3.66 to $4.33. Movement can replace 263 a year with a single membership fee. Instead Im made to feel like a thief to bother asking to use fitness equipment to warm up. I just miss the way earth treks used to be
