        We love BBD at Fountain. My wife and I go all the time. I get the bigfoot chicken fried steak with 3 eggs, hash browns and two huge pancakes. So good. I see other people's orders and they look good,but I always order my bigfoot. Can't help it, I e been over a dozen times and never got bad food. Always excellent.

        Food is bland. But with some added salt and hot sauce it makes for a decent meal! Portions are HUGE so come in with an empty stomach

      In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience.
