Everything was great up until it came time to order contacts and glasses. I told them I wanted to hold off because I wanted to check glasses and contact prices elsewhere. This seemed to be a problem, but I asked for my prescriptions and Rita said "I have them but the doctor has to sign them and he is already with another patient. Do you want me to drop them in the mail?". I said no because I needed them in case I ordered elsewhere. So I waited for the doctor to come back. I checked contact prices elsewhere and ended up calling back and ordered contacts because they actually had the best price for my contacts. Glasses on the other hand are much cheaper at places like Eyebuydirect so I am choosing to order online. The problem is my prescription was unclear and the order would not go through the way I was entering it. We called 3 times and verified and was told everything was correct. When we called and told Rita for the last time that my order wouldn't go through she said she couldn't help since I didn't get glasses through them. This is completely unacceptable. I paid for an exam and an accurate prescription and am not obligated to order glasses at ridiculous prices. You are better off driving to Greeley or Brighton and going to Visionworks or Americas Best. I was really hoping to not have to make that trip for exams anymore, but I will likely not be revisiting these guys, unfortunately. Rita proceeded to laugh at me on my final call. Nervous laugh, or rude giggle, it was unprofessional either way. UPDATE: Doctor Hilbert called and was able to fix the prescription debacle. The front desk staff could have avoided most of this had they gone to the doctor to verify the information they were giving me. Dr. Hilbert calling back and verifying my prescription doesn't excuse the treatment that I received from the rest of the staff. Michael was great from start to finish, his staff brings his practice down unfortunately.
