I just had Sub Hubs' pastrami sandwich, recommended to me by the owner VJ and it was great! The pastrami was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The bread was crispy and had plenty of sauce. There were plenty of toppings and they were all fresh! Overall I am super excited to go back and try the rest of the sandwiches on the menu!!!

What a mess! I tried to call in a to-go order. I tried calling three times, and kept getting voicemail for JoJos, the former tenant in this space. Then, I tried ordering online. I chose meatball sandwich , and then it started asking me what meat I want it on my sandwich, what toppings, etc. Considering a meatball sandwich has meatballs and the toppings are sauce and cheese. Why would I have had to go into any detail? I bailed on that and just drove to the store. I asked the man behind the counter why the phone wasnt getting answered. He said his manager took the phone a few days ago and never brought it back. I then ordered the meatball sandwich. He told me they didnt have the shredded mozzarella that is one of the key ingredients. He said I could have pepper jack or Swiss in addition to the provolone. Seriously? On a New York style meatball sandwich? Pepper jack or Swiss?! I chose just the provolone since they didnt have what the menu indicated. I asked if the meatballs were homemade or frozen. He said they were frozen. I decided to chance it. I asked him to make sure there is plenty of sauce on my sandwich. When I got the sandwich home, the bread was huge, and not grilled and heated all the way through. The meatballs were very small, and not New York style at all, which is what they advertise. The sauce? It wouldve been really good if there was enough of it. The sandwich was on the low side of mediocre. Do yourself a favor. If you want a meatball sandwich that is truly good, go to Nicks Sandwich Shop on College. They only serve lunch, but at least you wont have to endure this experience. Update: I left my name and phone number and asked that the manager or owner call me. Its been a week and Ive heard from no one. Why am I not surprised? They seem to be the essence of lack of customer service.
