Music City Hot Chicken

Got the classic chicken sandwich. It was not good. Flavor profile was off. Meat itself was chewy and gristley. Fries were good. Potato salad was meh. My partner got an upset stomach from eating half his chicken sandwich.

Super bummed to have to give this review. It has been my favorite restaurant in Fort collins for years. Easily 5 star back even just a year ago. But the cost cutting is becoming obvious, it no longer fills me up, and is not worth the money anymore. The "music city club" used to come with a full thigh and 2 slices of texas toast for the bun. The last couple times ive gone i got a piece of thigh no bigger than a chicken strip, and today it was served on a standard fast food style hamburger bun. Luckily there's chicken joints all over town, but I used to always recommend music city first, and never bothered going elsewhere. I guess I'm going to have to try other places now.

Chicken tenders were bland (I got Jerk and Hot), no spice. Decent size though. Side was in a tiny cup. I got the baked beans and was immediately overwhelmed by the smell of vinegar when taking the top off. I tried one bite, straight vinegar, gross. The tried multiple sodas from the machine and they were all short on syrup. I tried the tea, it tasted like the machine was broke and mixed all the flavors. I won't be back because this meal that I barely ate any of was almost $20. The folks that worked there were really nice though.

Last time I ate here, the tenders were literally over double the size of the little ones I got this time. Food is great, but Im just a little upset that Im paying the same amount for less food.
