Health District Mental Health Connections

I received info about connections from my PCP, looking for a way to find a counselor or therapist in my post-partum phase that accepted my insurance. I called and spoke to Kathy: she was warm and empathic and it truly felt like she cared about my well-being. I gave her my info, preferences of what kind of therapist I was looking for, and then that day or the next she sent me a list of providers that were in my insurance network. She did ALL the hard work. I picked one and began therapy. Its one of the best things thats ever happened to me. She even followed up a week or so later to make sure I was alright and able to connect with a therapist. This was almost a year ago. I tell anyone Im able to about it because I truly believe this is such an incredible resource. Thank you!!!

Yet another government agency(?). Called them over two weeks ago, and never heard back from them. They should rename their company to "missed connections". What a shame, they really don't care about people, just money!
