Had the privilege of attending this church on 1/07/24 and got fed. We travel around looking for churches who are military and first responder friendly, and here's our review of Vintage City Church: Pro's - This church believes in the Holy Spirit. They have Pentacostal roots but didn't "act out" as many Pentacostal churches do. The preaching was solid. The pastor shared the stage with other spiritual leaders. They were prompt and wrapped up the service on time. They had courtesy drinks, clean restrooms, and minimal volunteers keeping things running smoothly. The church was big enough that you could blend in and not get too much attention (if that's your thing). Praise and Worship was excellent (from what we could hear). Con's - The only people who greeted us was the greeter at the front door. The pastor walked right by us several times and never even made an attempt to greet us. One guy stood right behind us (we were on the back row in the outside seats) and was loudly whispering prayers during praise and worship. This was a huge distraction and hindered our ability to worship. Youth stood along the back wall and talked throughout praise and worship, which was another major distraction. One father with an infant stood right behind us patting his baby on the diaper to try to get the baby to stop crying. We found it rude that he stood so close to us when he had another 10' behind him that he could've used (the back wall was clear at this time). These distractions originate from a lack of consideration by fellow Christians. This has become a norm in our faith and it's a major failure we need to remedy. Another con is how the pastor was theologically biased and condemned other denominations from the pulpit. At the end of the day, we give Vintage City Church a 4-Star. They preached the Gospel and believe in biblical truths. It felt safe, but unfriendly and disrespectful. There were too many unnecessary distractions, but things ran very smoothly. We understand that some anomalies may exist and always recommend you checking things out for yourself. If your first visit doesn't go well, try attending two more times before making a decision. This is in no way a poor review. We do not inflate the truth to satisfy the human nature. Overall, excellent church to go try out. R, Dr. Burke
