Alvarado's Mexican Fast Food

Chicken enchiladas were mediocre, and cheese enchiladas should be outright avoided. Theyre made with shredded American cheese of the cheapest kind, and it wasnt even melted. The fact that other people have praised the food in this place makes me think that either I should try ordering something else or Denver standards for Mexican food are really, really low.

Great between the hours of 10pm-3am. Scratches the late night Mexican itch. Churros were not my favorite. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options in Mexican food.

Awesome staff! Super friendly and fast. The portions are huge!!! Great authentic flavor, definitely not another taco bell like place. The Carne Asada fries come with like a whole steak on top and generous helpings if guac, cheese, and sour cream. The bacon breakfast burrito always has that delicious cheese core, and the fries inside give it a great texture as well as boost the flavor. Update, April 2024: Still awesome. Super friendly. Super nice staff, and the best food. Only thing I've noticed is portions have gotten smaller, but unlike other restaurants the prices have stayed the same. They're trying their hardest despite inflation. Still definitely worth the money!
