My therapist gave up on me and dropped me as a client based off a rough week and emailing her updates. She then sent me resources that were of ZERO help for continuing care. My therapist was Kristin Figeroa, and Tara and her supervisor were no help after me explaining everything. I have sent this office SO much business...You do NOT treat people with autism this way. Do NOT use them. Update: Danielle stepped up and actively found me a new therapist at a different office. Kristin was reprimanded and trained on how to NOT do this again. And because of Kristin screwing me over saying I need "higher care" after one of the WORST weeks I have had in months, I cannot now see ANYONE else in Denver. DO NOT USE THEM.

Marnesia Bryant has been working with my family for over a year and has been exceptionally helpful. She is knowledgeable, sensitive and a really good listener. She is able to empathize with us individually and at the same time help us find common ground and a way to move forward. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

I was evaluated for autism at Mountain Vista. The data collection itself was thorough, as it included standardized assessments, self-reports, and family reports. However, the results were biased and limited to autism stereotype. They stated I did not meet the criteria because of reasons such as I did not have "random fixated interests on objects such as rocks and pens", they "are assuming people will not camouflage themselves" during testing, and I "maintained one friendship... which is not consistent with autism spectrum disorder". This evaluation was influenced by a very limited understanding of the complexities of the autism spectrum, the female autistic phenotype, and the impact of compensation and camouflage. I highly recommend the team to expand their knowledge on autism before continuing to evaluate adults for autism. This process pushed me to get a second opinion and I was able to see a practitioner who is autistic and a certified autism specialist. She was able to diagnose me with autism and ADHD sooner than I received my final evaluation report from Mountain Vista.

I went to Mountain Vista Psych for an adult autism assessment. The assessment process was incredibly thorough and included questionnaires, in-person diagnostic testing and a lengthy clinical interview. Some of it was exhausting, but worth it, as I feel they left no stone unturned. I had felt pretty confident that I have been undiagnosed autistic, but wanted a professional opinion. I was nervous throughout the process because I am a high-masking female and I worried that would affect my assessment and diagnosis. They took into account that I learned how to compensate for my social deficits and challenges over the years through studying human behavior and hiding my autistic traits. I felt seen, heard and validated throughout the process, and I appreciate the thoughtful consideration that went into my evaluation. At the end of the assessment, I received a detailed report with recommendations of how to better support myself and my life through an autistic lens. I would recommend Mountain Vista Psychology if you're seeking an adult autism diagnosis.

If you choose to get assessments/testing done by a doctoral intern and are told the process will be supervised, ask them to specify what will and will not be supervised. My appointment was supervised for about 20 minutes at most out of the initial 5 hour assessment. When my report came there were things left out that potentially had an impact on diagnosis. All screenings showed that I had ADHD, but apparently this was considered inaccurate because most of the symptoms did not start to show until I was a teenager! This is blatant misinformation and I feel as if I have wasted my money because my second opinion firmly disagreed with their final report. It is also worth noting that half of the positive reviews left for this office are not from patients, but rather from professional colleagues or other doctors. This is misleading!
