    My husband and I have lived at Amberley for just under 6 months and love it. The apartments are so much bigger and nicer than the MANY we toured before selecting Amberley. The best things is also how quiet it is. The neighbors are friendly and our experience with the management/maintenance team has been exceptional. While we had no major maintenance issues, we had what turned out to be a thermostat problem a few weeks ago on Super Bowl Sunday and when I called, there was a maintenance guy standing in our apartment 20 minutes later and had the repair done in less than 30 minutes.

    The only reason this place is getting two stars instead of one is because the apartment is big and beautiful, the kitchen and bathrooms in particular are really nice. Cons I'd specifically like to mention - very pricy and very few amenities. Fitness room has 3 exercise machines in it and they're often broken or out of order. The garage door is constantly broken. Management doesn't alert residents when staff changes are made. Staff was found to be scamming residents and still residents were not made aware. They changed the security system on December 29th and residents got an email saying more details would follow. We did not get a follow up email, the code was changed, and residents were locked out of the building. Since this was on a Friday and Jennice, the property manager, took the following Saturday off, Monday was a holiday, and then she also took off Tuesday. When Jennice finally came back from work, we received a very inadequate apology that was not believable. Jennice claimed that she did not know the code to the building would be changed. It makes no sense that a new system by different company would have the same code. She was made aware of the issue on Tuesday the 2nd but refused to come in and address her egregious error. It's ridiculous to charge as much as you do and literally lock your residents outside on a holiday weekend. In conclusion, while the physical aspects of the apartment are commendable, there's ample room for improvement in terms of communication, maintenance, and overall resident experience. Editing this review to reflect 1 star after below response from management company acting like any of this is my misunderstanding instead of events I witnessed literally last week with my own eyes. People were knocking on my window at 11 pm trying to get into the building.

    My wife and I just left Amberley after living here for a year, I transferred for my job. The complex is beautifuland and very well maintained! Perfect for people with pets and the neighbors are friendly. The leasing team is great and maintenance is very kind and responsive! The apartments have the best finishes and was spotless when we moved in, sight unseen. We would recommend Amberley to anyone looking!

    If we could give less than one star we would. The manager in the leasing/management office was terrible on a good day and the "new" one that they replaced her with wasn't any better. We went were given broken key fobs that were never replaced. We were told they were too expensive to replace. The garage doors were consistently broken. We had a pipe leaking over our car for six months before it was FINALLY repaired and then we were reminded how expensive that repair was. We went without a fridge/freezer for 3 weeks because they couldn't keep a maintenance person on staff. It took them 70 days to return our damage deposit The apartment was beautiful and there wasn't much noise from neighbors or outside. The neighbors were all wonderful and friendly. But that is where the good ended. Heaven help you if you ever have a maintenance issue.
