        Sketchy company. They call out of the blue asking for banking (routing/acct #) information without providing any information what this is for... When asked who/why they are needing this, they hung up on me.

      Kristof, Bank of Colorado will never call you to ask for your account information out of the blue. You did the right thing by not providing this caller with any of your sensitive information. From your description of how the caller responded, this might have been an attempted phishing scam (someone pretending to be from the bank). We recommend that you contact your banker directly to let them know of this attempt so they can provide guidance on measures you can take to further protect your account. Privacy and security are of the utmost importance to us, please feel free to contact the branch directly if you would like more information on our privacy and protection policies.
