Ore House

I throughly enjoyed my evening at the Ore House. The food was phenomenal - my filet was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes are life changing. Don't forget the cornbread! My caesar salad left a lot to be desired, but I did not go for the salad. I sat and ate at the bar and was very well taken care of by the two gentlemen attending the bar area. The restaurant is small, cozy, has a great atmosphere, and is a great escape from the geared towards tourists restaurants you find on Main Street in downtown Durango. Make sure you make a reservation!

What an amazing dinner! The staff listened to our interests and made recommendations based on the things we enjoy. Everyone was exceptionally attentive to our needs. Food was well prepared and presented. Mark the bar tender was World Class.

The Ore House is hands down the best fine dining restaurant in Colorado. From the moment we checked in with the host we were treated like VIP guests. Wait staff, bartenders, and management came to our table to welcome us. The level of detail at this restaurant is beyond 5 star Michelin. The silverware and glassware are timeless, the extensive cocktail menu and presentation of food and drink is exquisite and the attentiveness of staff was beyond exceptional. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience and the best fresh Colorado food you've ever had, We highly suggest you make reservations at the Ore House.
