WellI wish I could write a positive review but arrived at clinic, checked in, was greeted by a pleasant admin person.
I had been experiencing flu like symptoms for about 24 hours and I explained I was seeking anti-viral therapy. I returned to my car per instructions and waited. Yeahabout 45 minutes. During that time two other patients arrived and were admitted while I was still left to wait. Was I overlooked? Being an older male diagnosed with heart problems, I feel I was overlooked. Now Im left to my own devices and am experiencing flu like symptoms and heart palpitations. I was never admitted and received no care and after 45 minutes I left.This is not the level of care Ive come to expect from medical professionals associated with Animas Urgent Care.

James Pitts is unprofessional!! Rude!! I went in with swelling and pain by my jaw and ear. He barely touch it didnt even ask me to move my head anything!! I told him Im having pain and I feel the swelling.. he was mad and said Im not arguing with you! I told him not arguing just telling you I can feel it! At that point I just said Ill make appointment with my dr Monday. When I was leaving I can hear him talking with a person about me saying I was lying about the migraine and pain!! How uncaring human been for been a Dr! Girls staff at front was very nice . Do not waist your time at this location heading to other urgent care clinic here in Durango

Lifesaver for me. My doctor's office was closed this Friday and I'd had a bad respiratory bug for 10 days. Animas Urgent Care got me in with no wait, Dr. Jim Pitts was direct, compassionate and helpful. Chest x-ray took 5 minutes, diagnosis of pneumonia, prescriptions phoned in promptly. It's Friday afternoon and I'd have been in a very bad way over the weekend without the help of this wonderful team. Thank you! And a real human being answers the phone, too. Even at 4:42 on a Friday afternoon. Would not hesitate to go there again and highly recommend.

We would have appreciated more compassion and kindness. We scheduled an appointment to see whether our toddler had an ear infection. He's been sleepless and showing signs that previously indicated an ear infection. We arrived and were told to wait in the car and that someone would be with us shortly. We waited for 45 minutes without word. We finally went in and asked how much longer it would be given that kids don't love sitting in cars and were told "at least another hour." He was screaming incessantly and we couldn't sit in the parking lot any longer so we left. I guess we will try somewhere else because the problem isn't going away. No apology. No compassion. No understanding. It's hard enough for parents of young children these days. We truly wish they would have just given us a time estimate so we could have taken our toddler somewhere and returned.
Update: We appreciated the quick response from Animas Urgent Care's management on this issue and when we returned they did a great job.
