This place has gone downhill since 2019. I took a clock in for repair then and was charged $165 (that seems to be their standard charge). It ran for just a few hours and stopped, as before. I took it back the next day, and was told the tech had quit. I told the owner that I had no contract with an employee, but with him. He took it in and never fixed it for 14 months! I finally called and said put it together and give it back to me tomorrow. I got it the next day, and it still wont run. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They are the only clock repair shop in Durango, and they know it. This is what happens when we have a monopoly. We get ripped off !.

I took my clock to this shop for a repair in February 2022. The owner seemed hesitant to give me a cost estimate or an estimate of time required to complete the repair but I left it there anyway as it's the only clock repair shop in the Durango area. After waiting 6 weeks, I called the shop to find out if it was finished and I was informed that the repair had not been completed so I told them I'd pick it up later that week. Two days later they told me the repair was completed. The cost was much more than I expected. I could have purchased a new insert for half of the cost of the repair and installed it myself in less time.
