Deanna was very kind, organized and patient when explained the Tax return process to me, she provided a detailed explanation about it and the next steps. I uploaded all documents through the portal, so she was able to complete the process timely. There is an option to do all the process virtually, but I had a lot of questions, so decided to schedule an in-person appointment. Since she is certified by the IRS, she filled out the W-7 form to request the ITIN for my wife and kids, and validated their passports, so we didnt have to go to the IRS office for this or send the passports along with the Tax return documents. In our first appointment, my 2-y child was crying because he thought we were there for some vaccines, and Deanna was very patient and helped us to to calm down the baby. There is a coffee area in the back where with snacks and color books to entertain the kiddos. I would say the price is worth the service provided and the amount that will be returned. I also got a discount for new clients.

I took my taxes to the Hampton office in Denver last year and Paula was assigned to complete my taxes. When I didnt hear from her as the deadline approached, I called to inquire. I was told there was a lot to do on our filing and she would not be able to complete them in time so she filed an extension until June with the IRS in our behalf. This was done without my knowledge or consent. Had I known an extension was needed, I would have picked up my records. I didnt want to file an extension . Unfortunately , I was not given that choice. The communication was horrible. I understand it was tax season and they were busy. However, I had to pay the fines and fees from IRS due to the extension. I called many times to complain and was promised a partial refund for what happened. Everyone I spoke with had no record of the promised refund in my file notes, and they each said theyd take care of it. I never received a refund and Eventually the office stopped answering my calls. This was the worst experience I ever had with H&R Block and would not use them again nor recommend them in Good faith.
