The Courtyards at Mountain View

Of the three assisted living facilities where my sister has been a resident, Courtyards at Mountain View has been the worst. The hallway on her floor smelled faintly of some kind of pet or human waste. Rehabilitation evaluations and treatments were promised but never followed up on. Prior to moving in, we had an agreement with management that, since she would only be a resident temporarily (while we found another facility closer to our home) the community fee of $3,000 would be paid on a pro-rated basis, $1000 for each month she was at the facility. She was at Courtyards for 43 days 10 days in Oct 2024, 30 days in November and three days in December. We paid $2000 for Oct and Nov but felt that, since she was only present for three days in December, we should not be liable for the full $1000. Management would not budge, and we were forced to pay $1000 in community fees for a month when she was present for only three days. We gave 30-days notice in early November that we would be moving my sister out on 4 Dec 2024 and yet no one from the management team was present when we came to discharge my sister. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who is seeking compassionate care for their loved ones.

Hani was a great help working with my dad to get him into the community - making a difficult transition much better. And now after a few weeks, my dad seems to be settling in, making new friends with some residents and staff. It has been a very good experience from where I sit.

The Courtyards at Mountain View is a great place for my aunt. She really enjoys living here and is making new friends very quickly. All the staff, especially Hani Pullen, have been wonderful in my aunts transition to a new place. Hani has been so helpful and has made the moving process easy. My aunt loves the food much better than where she was before. I highly recommended having your loved ones live here!
