Sloan's Lake Rehabilitation Center

I wanted to share with others my experience 5 years ago. I was transfered there from an local area hospital. After having severe complications from emergency abdominal surgery for severe hernia. After all my time was expired at the hospital. I was transfered to Sloans Lake Rehabilitation Center. I had to heal from the inside out. The "wound staff" were very professional. Unpacking and repacking my surgical wound that had been re-opened couple a times at the hospital. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of this facility. I have many pictures of various parts both inside and outside the building an my room. I see there is negative reviews except my 5 STAR REVIEW SPEAKS FOR IT'S SELF. Without the care an help from the staff. I may have not lived. I have over 22+ Million Reviews from Google Maps. When you search the pictures you will see my name displayed. I feel sad that there are others which did not feel the same way with their experience. I Was In The Rehabilitation Facility Almost An Month... an dear friend of mine is expected to arrive at this place later today or in the morning. (He) called me a few minutes ago indicating the doctors wanted him to get better before going home. 77 year old with emergency hip replacement surgery 2 days ago... I told him about my positive experience an how clean it was. An the new physical therapy department at the time had just been installed with updated equipment. I look foward to visiting with him after he settles in....

I no longer work at this facility for a number of reasons, yet I still have to deal with their disorganization , I have asked the staffer and upper management repeatedly to remove me off their open shift alerts and I guess they must really want me to know their staffing struggles I cant block the number either because the carrier uses the same system for my new job for their open shifts, gonna try reaching out to corporate to see if they can take of this since its that difficult for the staffer to get this task done.

My experience at Sloans Lake rehab has been totally positive and I did have a comparison to use that I wont mention. The quality of staff is great. The PT and OT are especially helpful in individualizing your treatments. The whole center has a feel of wanting to help you and they seem to have a spirit of togetherness here which benefits patients enormously and has benefited me! The food is also good and theres a feeling of an effort to make it both delicious and helpful.
