I sent this email about Dr. Fayngersh earlier today after struggling to find where it should go on kp.org but I just now found the QR code on my after-visit sheet. I send reviews, both positive and negative, as often as I can because I believe it helps Kaiser provide the best service. I almost gave up before I found where on you site I could submit this positive review. That's not good.
What is good and very good is Dr. Vadim Fayngersh in the Pulmonary Department! I had the very good fortune of being seen by him and his stellar staff yesterday. I'm a retired teacher so always have two lists of questions and concerns for my providers, one for them and one for me. Rather than ignore it or roll his eyes, the amazing Dr. Fayngersh seemed delighted by my list and then, without reading it, proceeded to address every one of my concerns but one. He is amazingly attentive and I was thunderstruck that, though he hadn't taken a single note during our very generous time together, his after-visit report was unbelievably detailed. He had indeed listened to my every word.
Besides having an enviable memory and listening skills, his depth of knowledge and how it related to my case was what I could only have wished for. I've been dealing with what seems to be a very difficult to diagnose condition and he gave me hope by asking many, many questions, prescribing new medications and encouraging me greatly.
Kudos to what- or whomever was able to attract this truly remarkable physician!
