        Dr. S is fantastic - I would (and have) highly recommend him to anyone with anxiety. What I want in a therapist is not just someone to hear, understand, and remember but someone who uses the best treatment methods and ideas in these areas. I found all of this in Dr. Shanley and he helped me greatly. I would highly recommend him!

        Dr. Shanley is honest, optimistic, direct, and maintains a good sense of humor. I initially begin meeting with Dr. Shanley to treat social anxiety, and continued meeting with him to work through other issues in my life. I appreciated his calm and laid demeanor. I highly recommend Dr. Shanley to anybody seeking a psychologist to treat anxiety or a stress related condition.

        David helped me out a lot when I was having my hard time earlier this year. He has been very caring to what I was going through. Additionally, he has been very patient throughout the whole time, for instance, he's a great listener (I had a lot to talk about at the time). Oh, David also gave out helpful advice to help me moving forward to my own goals. I would highly recommend David!

      My name is David Shanley, and I am a therapist specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders for adults and adolescents in Denver. I have my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from the University of Denver. As an anxiety therapist, I use only research-based cognitive-behavioral interventions to help you approach, rather than avoid your anxiety. This has been proven to be the most effective way to treat anxiety disorders.Engaging in therapy for anxiety can be a scary process, so it is helpful to know what therapy will be like before you start. I am a Behaviorist in the Psychology world. This does not mean that I ignore thoughts and emotions, but rather I focus on the use of evidence-based, behavioral interventions to effectively treat anxiety and other mental health issues.
