Dr. Popkin is very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. My experience with him is more than I could have hoped for in seeking treatment. He explains things thoroughly and listens intently, which are some of the most important factors in a provider. Also, his office manager Kelly has always been great and together they have provided quick and easy access to treatment while always keeping the lines of communication open.

I told the dr I was experiencing suicidal thoughts and is main concern was another phone patient.This doctor is on cruise control I wouldn’t recommend anybody see this dr.Thank god he’s not taking new patients This doctor is not worth your time..

Doctor that makes you run loops through insurance before telling you they aren't accepting new patients. Avoid at all costs

I have been with Dr. Popkin for almost nine years, and out of the many mental health professionals I have seen over my life, Dr. Popkin is by far the best. He spent approximately 3.5 hours on my initial evaluation, and started me on medications slowly and with caution. It's been hard finding the right combo of meds, but Dr Popkin has never given up on me - currently I am feeling happy and stable. But, aside from meds, Dr. Popkin is always happy to see me, always kind to me, and humorous, He always find time to discuss issues in pop culture that interest me. He's an enjoyable person, and also a very comprehensive physician. I highly recommend Dr. Popkin. Oh, and I should say that Kelly, Dr. Popkin's assistant, has never been any thing other than helpful, friendly, and kind.
