I went through a miscarriage that then resulted into a D&C to remove the placenta. Dr. Roper was there through it all. She took care of me in the best way while I was going through a hard time. Lucas, my husband, and I are very thankful.

Dr. Roper is so kind, personable, gentle and honest. I could not ask for a better Doctor. The best NP in town is Brenda, she is professional, understanding, funny and interested in her patients. I will see both Dr. Roper and Brenda for compassionate and accurate care.

Dr. Roper-Cooper misdiagnosed me & told me I needed surgery when I did not. She then not only perforated my uterus in surgery, but also made a subserosal tear requiring cauterization and lied about it as well as other aspects of the surgery. When I requested the OR report from her office, they redacted the surgical notes and I had to go through other avenues at the hospital to obtain the medical records which all patients are legally entitled to. I urge anyone seeing Dr. Roper-Cooper to seek a second opinion and do not let her operate on you.

Dr. Dana Roper and her staff for the most part have been so great and helpful! The only time I've had issues are with the office administrators who can be quite dismissive, especially went dealing with patients. As a currently pregnant patient, the lack of respect that comes from those conversations causes stress that isn't helpful to me or my child. I would hope that someone working in an office that deals with pregnant people would be slightly more empathetic. The doctors and nurses in this office are great but the first impression at the front desk speaks volumes.

I echo the sentiments of many other reviewers here when it comes to the person who is at reception, she was incredibly rude every time I checked in for my prenatal exam. I don't think she should be fired, but I do think that there's a LOT of room for growth here with some extensive training in client facing services. Dana, however was wonderful! I had a complicated birth, and she got me through it with a much better recovery then what I experienced with my daughter (with a different obgyn). The Best part about this practice is that at each appointment they screen for postpartum anxiety and depression, and as soon as I showed signs of either one of those things they make sure to connect me with a therapist specializing in prenatal care. It made all the difference this time around with the birth of my beautiful baby boy, and being the best mother I can be. They very much are doing the important work of de-stigmatizing post-partum anxiety/depression; thank you Dana and to your back office in general for taking care of me in all aspects of care!
