Very rude and unprofessional from the drs to the receptionist. We have been lied to about what test are for, very pushy on testing and pretty inconsiderate all around.

I wouldn't recommend going here for a well-woman's exam; there seems to be a lack of understanding of preventative healthcare. The MA gave me unsolicited and incorrect insurance/billing advice. I was there for a well woman's exam, and I didn't have specific concerns, which is okay because it's similar to a physical in that you don't have to have concerns or need your pap, it can just be a check up. She asked me if I even wanted to be seen then... and she suggested I should have had my PCP do my well-woman's and that if I already had my physical this year, she implied that my well-woman's wouldn't be covered because they're coded the same. I went into the appointment thinking they were separate 100% covered benefits, but then I second guessed myself and worried that this appt wouldn't be covered. She wanted to ask the provider about a result she saw in my chart from my well woman's last year that was abnormal (it wasn't; the MA incorrectly interpreted it) and said that if the provider said it wasn't a concern, then I could go. So I was told I could go and I was never even seen/examined by the provider. I was planning on establishing care with this provider, so it would have been my first appointment with her. I won't be back after this experience. I think the MAs need more education about what's within their scope and what a well woman's exam is. And I think a provider should know better than to have a patient come in for an appointment without even examining the patient. It should be up to the patient and the doctor to determine what warrants an appointment, especially an appointment that is a 100% covered benefit and part of preventative healthcare. I wish I would have spoken up, but it was just a very uncomfortable experience and the misinformation informed my decision to agree to leave without being seen. I'm hoping I wasn't billed since I wasn't even seen. *Update: I wasn't billed luckily. I tried to speak with the clinic manager just to encourage more education so someone else wouldn't experience this, and an assistant called me back and said the manager would get back to me, and they never did. I recently had to call the clinic back for refills, and they said I would need to come in for an appointment. Completely reasonable, but I had to awkwardly explain the previous situation and that I had already tried to have an appointment. The receptionist was validating, which was great and I was able to get my refill. That was impressive and I really appreciated it. The receptionist incorrectly documented the conversation in MyChart though, and said "patient says xyz" and I never said what she documented. I work in healthcare so I know things happen, but it's really bad practice to document something a patient didn't say. It's not great practice either to never follow-up with a patient about their concerns. Had I been able to have my appointment with ease, I wouldn't have been in this situation, because I already would've had refills. Just wanted to update here since I wasn't sure if I'd have any luck with the manager again.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received. I went in for a Friday afternoon IUD consultation appointment and signed a consent form for an IUD. I was repeatedly told not to call their office looking for the IUD but to call the pharmacy. I called the pharmacy for weeks and finally because I was running out of birth control pills, I called this office. No one had filed my consent form or ordered my IUD. They said they would refill two months birth control and order me an IUD. It has been two months since then (4 months since I initially signed for an IUD) and STILL no word of my IUD. The communication is unclear from the employees, and I do not trust them to follow through on their word. I have given up on this office and need to find a new OBGYN. (2018) Lol update my son is 4-years-old now, true story. (2023)
