I specifically told the guy when I first started speaking with him that I would not be spending any money on this endeavor, and he still wasted a whole bunch of my time by having me sit in this class thing As the next step in this process is you paying a bunch of money to them For classes. What Im seeing online is that these classes are enormously crowded Which leaves me feeling that while this does appear to be a real talent agency. Perhaps they have a department that just turn and Burn people so they can charge them exorbitant fees for classes that wont get you a job in the long run. My guess without looking to hard is that when John Casablanca died his company got commandeered by some less than scrupulous individuals in order to make a ton of money without actually doing anything. But that is a lot of assumptions. During the meeting there was extensive psychological manipulation. Some in the form of having you vocalize your excitement for the job repetitively, and they set up this kind of competitive vibe between all of us, for who was the most enthusiastic, which is textbook. I also noticed that they like to respond to these kind of complaints with messages that simply say thank you for writing what youve said is not accurate if youd like to find out what the truth is, please contact us. Which shows no accountability and to me just seems like gaslighting. The next thing that made me nervous the fact that every single person in the class got Accepted. I mean no disrespect to anyone else in my group, but none of us were gonna be the next Tom Hanks by any means. I reached out to the company and let them know that strategically that seemed like a bad idea to me, considering what theyre trying to accomplish so well see if they implement cutting someone into their future schemes rather than continuing their current model of simply accepting EVERY SINGLE APPLICANT. Ive seen enough episodes of entourage to know that no job and certainly not one in the worlds most cutthroat industry will be that easy to come by. One small thingthe guy orchestrating this lil charade mentioned that these sessions were typically 40 to 60 people as opposed to the eight that we had on our day. That meeting was pretty long and my estimate for one with that many people in it would be that it would take five hours which doesnt seem realistic to me. On the plus side everybody was very polite. The text wrangler in particular had excellent manners. I will give them credit for their decision to not answer your call and rather text you that they will call you back because theyre so important that theyre on the phone right now and they cant speak with you because Cindy Crawford is having a meltdown somewhere. Thats a clever and very effective strategy, and rather bold I might say Im sure whoever initially suggested it at a meeting met with some opposition, but good for them. Oh, and the Talking Head in the meeting was simply identified as John the international talent agent, or some such nonsense. Im guessing that has to do with him, attempting to Remain anonymous as likely a lot of the things that he was saying could be in someway incriminating. And lastly, I wont doxx Anyone here but Im a private investigator and I did some digging around on the phone number that I got a call from and Lets just say it it made me feel good about my decision to move on. I'd be very interested to see if when they call you if theyd be willing to give you thieir FIRST LAST AND MIDDLE NAME ASWELL AS DATE AND LOCATION OF BIRTH. My guess is they'll start squirming or hang up on you. One question I did have: When you buy google reviews, do you pay the same person to respond for you? Or are you guys writing those responses the old fashioned way?
