We searched desperately for a family therapist and found this office. After three sessions for which I paid full price (initial insurance information they provided was not correct and they did not accept my insurance), our therapist Cindy took one of our daughter into a separate room and unilaterally decided she would no longer be our family therapist, but would only be working with my daughter (who she knew has three other therapists already). When I conveyed my shock and dismay, she attacked me verbally and refused to admit her wrongdoing or breach of ethical obligations. When I spoke to the owner of the business Liz, she claimed to fully agree with me that the behavior of the other therapist was unethical and unwarranted. I was promised a refund for the three sessions that I paid out-of-pocket for, since they were rendered useless. She also offered to step in as our family therapist which I told her I would prefer doing (its impossible to find anyone these days). But her administrative staff refused to call me back to schedule any appointments, and waited weeks in between return phone calls. I finally just gave up. I lost hundreds of dollars that I did not have to waste, and our family went through more trauma that we frankly did not need. My concerns and complaints were ignored. I would never send anyone to work with this business.

I first met Lizzie Stevenson when I was 16 years old in high school. She helped me immensely with my struggles that came from growing up with divorced parents and an alcoholic stepmother. After college, I reconnected with Lizzie to truly do the hard work of evaluating my life and discovering how to be happy; to put my past behind me and move forward. She helped me out of my depression, taught me how to trust people, and realize that the world doesn't have to be scary. Lizzie is professional, genuine, caring, and supportive. She is the most kind and generous person that I have ever met and she will always be there to help you if you need it. I can't say enough good things about her. If you are an adult child of an alcoholic, have unhealthy relationships with family, are trying to change your life around and become the healthiest and happiest version of you, Lizzie is the person that you want on your team. Because of Lizzie's help, I am the happiest I've ever been in my life.
