New West Physicians North Denver Medical & Sports Medicine

I had been going to New West Physicians for almost ten years, seeing Dr Christopher Carlson. I still highly recommend Dr. Carlson, though he is no longer with New West Physicians. The office itself is going down hill though. I had blood tests lost, twice, and had to come in for a third drawing. Prescriptions not sent to the pharmacy for more than a week after my doctor visit that the new doctor said would be sent in the same day. I had to call back three times, and the prescription was still not sent to the pharmacy. I won't be going back.

Very disappointed. I saw Dr. Kaczmarczyk who was incredibly unhelpful and borderline rude. He barely gave an effort to diagnose my issue, did not ask deeper questions, ordered the basic blood tests but defaulted to the issue being psychiatric not physiological. Turns out it was physiological. He overlooked very important pieces of information. On top of the appointment with Dr. K being a waste of time, it has been 2 weeks and counting and they have not returned any lab results despite me reaching out twice and being promised both times someone is going to call me back. IMHO, this practice should not be in business.

My elderly mother has been a patient for many years. The service attention from some office staff and Dr has frustrated our family. Not getting a call back after two attempts from the On call Dr (Wed., 3/22/23) at all was unbelievable. SHE has confidence in her Dr n office but if they only had the same respect for her, our 92 years old mother ..still the NEXT DAY no one called to see if she needed help, inquire, see if she was even still alive..what is wrong with this type of office that they have such a carefree attitude. Yes, it upsets us.she still keeps trusting them. Lets see IF THEY follow up with any responses as to the reason they ever responded to her call to on call after hours center and the way in which they do their business. JTrujillo

Avoid Dr. Shpall at all costs. I just had the most unprofessional experience of my entire life with this person. How he can claim to be a medical professional is beyond me. Zero empathy. Zero compassion. Zero care for the well-being of the patient. It honestly felt like I was inconveniencing him because I came in to get relief for the sickness I currently have. He came in with a sour attitude right off the bat. He spent maybe two minutes with me, IF that. And then proceeded to make me feel GUILTY for coming to the doctor while I am sick. Its really unfortunate that my normal PCP, Dr. Kaczmarczyk, has to share an office with this person. Dr. K has been wonderful to deal with anytime Ive come in. He has been the best PCP I have ever come across. Its unfortunate that I now feel I have to change PCPs because Im afraid of getting stuck with Dr. Shpall again. Avoid Dr. Shpall at all costs.
