STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! We had a similar issue when Andy Weiss asked that we arrange for transportation of one of the machines that he sold. Andy vanished after the machine shipped and will not pay us for the service. We made multiple phone calls only to be told we did not ship anything and then be hung up on. I wish we would have see the other reviews. Seems like a copy and paste each time with him. Save yourself from the headache of dealing with someone as shady and crooked as Andy Weiss.

My company purchased a used Brandt KD-83 Edgebander from Machine Central as listed in good working condition on the website, and also from conversations with the owner, Andrew Weiss. Also stated on my bill of sale, In good working condition. Machine arrived and would not operate beyond lights coming on on the control panel. Even after a technician crawled all over the machine, it never ran. Mr. Weiss would not repair or exchange the machine, nor refund the purchase price of $5700, or the service charges of $1200. Mr. Weiss blamed the warehouse where it was stored for water damage. When that was proven not to be true, he tried to blame the shipper for damage. Also unfounded. My company sued to simply get a refund of the purchase price. After several unsuccessful attempts to depose Andrew Weiss and his accountant Louis Weiss, a judgement was entered in our favor for nearly $27,000 for fraudulent business practices across state lines, and doing business with the intent to defraud. Our attorneys and a private investigator have found the owner of Machine Central, Andrew Weiss to have no properties or possessions of value listed in his name. Therefore, collecting a judgement exceedingly difficult. BEWARE, this man has filed for bankruptcy 5 times and has scores of court judgements against him and his company for fraudulent business practices.

Be Careful! I bought a used shaper from machinecentral.com and in the pictures published on the machine and on phone calls the shaper included the feeder shown, When the machine arrived, didnt have the feeder, I complained and he said he will send the money on a new feeder to replace it, a few more days after several calls he said he will not send the money, after more calls he said he will send a used feeder, later when I asked for it, he just didnt answer emails and always hang up on me, saying he is busy doing whatever Be careful!!

Purchased a wide belt sander and paid in full, including freight, in December of last year. I have not received the sander. Andy has answered nine phone calls, but has never answered where my sander is or when it will be shipped; he has only stated he will call back, which he has never done. Andy has not replied to any emails. I hope nobody else makes the same mistake I appear to have made.

Andy has filed bankruptcy 5 times, has 9 (soon to be 10) liens, been sued 17 times and has $90,000 in tax debt. I recommend not doing business with him.
