Cogent is very deceptive. They send my work statements that say past due, but do not list any invoices.
When I reply to request that list, I don't get any responses, except for their auto-response.
Only after staying on hold for 2 hours, I was able to set up an online account and I have to go into there to see the finance charges they added to the account.
Very shisty company. I wish the person/people who purposely created this to suffer in their own personal hell.

Careful--this company uses 3-year auto renewal contracts otherwise known as "Evergreen Clauses." They won't contact you when your contract expires to get your signature--it renews itself without warning. Read the fine print before signing up for service. We were quoted a new DOUBLED monthly rate when we relocated to a new building 1.5 blocks away because they have to rent the fiber from another major provider and increase our price to make up for it. We cancelled to opt for a bundled phone/internet service elsewhere (cheaper with matching service), and then got hit with a 5-figure termination fee. And now we are somehow all added to their marketing list and constantly get contacted to re-sign a new agreement. Unbelieveable.
