Highly recommend Rocky Mountain RetroFoam. Austin the supervisor/General Manager and the crew Louie, Big Tony, Little Tony and Eddie were awesome. They did a great job. I would love to have these 5 guys working for me. They all got along exceptionally well, worked hard and were subject matter experts. Tira in the office is a great gal with unmatched communication skills. Don't miss out if you are in need of insulation these guys are amazing.

My initial experience with this company was impressive. Jeff, the estimator, was friendly and flexible (had emergency surgery the day of the 1st estimate and missed the appointment, but he called, left a voicemail, waited until I responded, and he immediately was understanding of the situation- unbelievably kind and patient). The actual estimate was an easy process. Jeff explained things thoroughly in a friendly manner. Price can be steep, but for the supposed energy bill decrease and sound dampening, I believed it would be worth it. We set a date for installation, and the team was fast. I was told it would take 2 days, and they finished in one. It leaves a lot of dust and debris, so I hired a cleaning team to get my house back in order and will get ducts cleaned. Also, you will definitely need a handyman (or DIY) to smooth out the holes every 3-24 along the walls, if you get it installed from the interior. Then, you will need to paint over the patches. For cost estimating purposes, keep this in mind. We had discussed insulating a bathroom that was overlooked on the first install day, so they came a week later for that. I was at a conference, but we arranged that when the team arrived/left, they would notify me, and I would unlock/lock the door for them. They came, insulated from the inside (I was told they would work on the exterior of the bathroom, but I imagine it should work the same as the interior injection, although Im sure the final install measurements/cost are smaller than those estimated in the price I paid). The team notified me that they were done and that I could lock the door. I locked it immediately from my phone, it said it locked fine, no jamming, and I continued my meetings. Keep in mind, I've lived in this house >3 years, with the same lock/phone program, and I have never had a door jam or issue with the it not closing completely. Later, I kept getting notifications on my front door camera. Thinking it was just the mailman or wind in the landscape throughout the day, I didn't think much of it. The videos at first were not registering much, but I kept getting a funny feeling, so I left the conference and checked on the house. Turns out, my front door was WIDE OPEN for 7+ hours. I shut the door and had the police tour my house to make sure no one was hiding anywhere. Luckily, nothing was stolen, but the wind had blown in a ton of leaves and debris, and my house was frigid; my pet bird was cowering in his cage from the cold. I informed Rocky Mountain Retrofoam of the incident and was contacted by the owner, Chase, the next day, who suggested we discuss a discount or some other rectification after I return from the conference (no response from calls/emails in the 12 days since the incident). He apologized for the stupidity of those employees. No confirmation of education being provided to those employees to not have this to happen again. After police confirmed a safe home, and my bird was calmed, I returned to the conference. The next day was an all-day snowstorm; I shudder to think of the state my house would have been in had that door remained open for the next 3 days of the conference, from weather and/or random people walking by an open house. They already have my money, as they require full payment the day of installation, but I warn future customers to stay with them for the entire appointment and confirm the project discussed is what ultimately gets done, as well as common sense things like making sure the door is closed when they leave. Or, just seek installation from another company. Overall, this company gets an average rating, because some aspects were good (Jeffrey and scheduling coordinator), but some were well below average (attention to detail, professionalism, customer service, etc.). Edit: Chase, the owner, called minutes after this review posted, and he sent me a $250 gift card to a restaurant to ease my stress and inconvenience of the ordeal. A 2% "discount" of the total project. Also, he said the employees have had discussions on properly confirming door closure for future jobs.

Their estimator spent an hour at our home and answered all of my questions. They will insulate all of the sidewalls in our 2017 home which was under insulated by our builder, Century Homes. Our outer walls are 2X6 construction, but with only 3 1/2" batting. They will fill the remaining uninsulated space. It has now been a week since their insulation. we immediately noticed the house is quieter, less drafty and the furnace runs shorter periods of time and less frequently. Keep in mind, this is a four year old home built by Century Homes! We previously had 23" blown into the attic, so we should be cozy for this winter, which wasn't the case previously. These people (crew of 7) arrive on time (even in Fort Collins), work the whole time; no wasted time, clean up any mess, and leave a minimal number of nails to touch up. I spent about three hours priming and color coating the nails, and the exterior looks perfect. There was absolutely no disruption to the inside! Today is a high wind warning day... Expect 100mph winds... There are no more drafts! The furnace comes on infrequently. We highly recommend Rocky Mountain RetroFoam!
