        Booker Beware: its not advertised that only onsite parking is valet only. Small space, and pricey. Good, clean rooms. Would give location 5 stars (great location in the city,) but the parking situation is a mess!

        The Slate is a home run in the boutique hotel niche. Clean, quiet, and a well thought out concept in an old elementary school. The staff are very friendly, and you can get good food while you get buzzed in The Teacher's Lounge bar (just like you knew your teachers were doing during lunch). The location is safely off to the side of downtown. They just need a Principal's Office to get paddled in for acting out and it would be just like old times.

        Loved the location and the concept. Rooms are a little small. Bar staff was very friendly. Walkability: 3 blocks from 16th street mall. Restaurants nearby

        What a great hotel! The rooms were clean and were dark at night. AC got cold. Showers are top-notch. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. Bartenders and wait staff were polite. Overall, I had a great experience. Rooms: Rooms were clean Safety: Felt safe
