Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Airport Tower Road

Room was fine except my digital key never worked or the digital climate controls. I needed a digital key because Hilton is running a promotion that if you use a digital key you get 500 bonus points. So......of course the key didnt work. First world problems. Room was clean. Staff tried to help and were lovely otherwise. Ms. Tanisha (Im sure I spelled that wrong, my apologies) the night front desk and Ms. Charity in the morning are really nice.

Some real morons working the phones at the front desk. Waited 45 minutes (in freezing weather) for the airport shuttle because they didn't think to mention that the shuttle they use is some other company (Residence Inn / Home2Suites), without any "Homewood Suites" logo or signage. This information is also not on the website, so far as I was able to find. So, beware: dress warm and ask plenty of specific questions when you call for pickup, because they're not going to volunteer the most obvious detail that should be offered each time someone requests airport pickup.

So I picked this hotel based upon the reviews and generally I go out of my way to stay at a Hilton property hotel ( I'm a diamond member). I also usually really like Homewood. When I checked in they didn't have my honors number tied to the reservation ( I provided it at check in). They gave me a first floor room next to an exit that was noisy ( I wish they would have considered my loyalty and got me a better room). The sound also transmitted through the floor with the guest above me making it hard to fall asleep and stay asleep. I'm guessing they knew my room was less than prime at check in but did not consider my Hilton points status/ loyalty. That's frustrating. When I tried to check out to catch an early flight I had to wait for the receptionist. I didn't get the how was everything speech I got the we are doing audit and once that starts we can't help you check out / provide a balance until its done. So rather than complaining to the staff I'm posting my feedback here with the hopes that it improves stays for future guests. Overall I think the hotel is a nice property if you get a quiet room but I think the staff is lacking or at least was for me at both check in and. Check out ....not sure if I will try it again over another nearby hotel ( there are many to choose from)

Not a positive experience here. We got in late and wanted to check in and get to bed because we had an early flight the next morning. Long check in line because there was only one poor young lady working and she was unable to make key cards to get into the rooms. There was a workaround by downloading the app but that was taking a long time. After a long wait we finally got to the front of the line and she informed us that the room we reserved and prepaid for with two double beds wasn't available so it would need to be 3 of us in a king room. Note that the room rate I'd opted for was not cancelable, so if I had failed to live up to my end of the bargain as they did, they simply would have kept my money. The front desk young lady told us she would have the manager call us about the problems. Didn't hear a thing. Won't stay there again.
