I loooove volunteering here! I get to help house & find shelter for families! The staff are outstanding here! They are so welcoming and friendly! I love it here!

Great program,they have always helped me with transportation help.they also help with shelter and other needs.nice and kind people,I highly recommend this place.keep up the great work!

After my partner and I were traumatized from police misconduct during my birthing of our first child in OR, we always felt violated and insecure at every place we lived. We moved to CO where life was going well for us and they accepted my partner's experience in his trade, easily getting a job. A couple years later we were waiting for approval of his license they denied it and we moved back to OR where we thought he could work. Later we found out he couldn't actually have his license in OR because of changed regulations during Covid and he was actually approved in CO as they repealed it so we came back but we needed help getting stable again. FPOGD jumped right in quickly and got us a hotel room as soon as possible, we got approved for an apartment, and they paid our deposit and rent! We were so relieved of the stress and have been forever grateful for Family Promise and their compassion! Now he has a great job and we have been stable ever since!
