Such a fun store! They had so many options for fun gifts for a variety of ages as well as beautiful home and holiday decor! The complimentary hot apple cider they offered while I shopped just topped it all off!

I ordered gifts from Aspen Lane on their website, and though their prices were higher than one would pay elsewhere for the same clothing brand, I understand that this is the nature of small business and generally try to support them when possible. The items were shipped in timely fashion. In the end, though, Ive been sorry. The boutiques stated return policies do not match their practices. I need to return one of the items I purchased due to its not fitting the giftee, and despite having carefully read the return and refund policy before purchase and ensuring that no notation appeared in the cart regarding the items ineligibility for return, I was told my item didnt qualify for a full refund per their policy (?) on Winter Sale. I have been unable to get clarification on what policy they mean, because the item is unworn, unwashed, and not a custom or personalized item, which are the only restrictions listed on the refund policy page on the website. Sale items are not mentioned at all (I even did a Cmd+F search on the page before purchase!) Also troubling was that I had to reach out 5 times (2 emails, 2 text messages, and finally, a phone call) before receiving a response for my return shipping label request, 5 days after my initial point of contact. A return had to be requested within 7 days of delivery, which was where my concern lay. At this point I still have the item and have not received an explanation or a shipping label, though its been 4 days since my last message. I will look into external means of resolution shortly, but wanted to advise others to be wary unless they are 100% certain the item will work for them.
