My husband passed unexpectedly and I had no idea what to do. I found Tulip on Google and just trusted them to help me. They were wonderful. Tulip handled all the details, communicated all thru the process, handled the documentation with the state, and sent my husband's remains home to me. They were fast, efficient, compassionate, and incredibly affordable. While I am still rolling deep in grief, I'm grateful that I chose Tulip and recommend their private cremation service.

Tulip Cremation made an already tough situation so much worse. My mother died on a Friday and I was told I'd hear from them the following day. I didn't, so I called and was told I'd hear more on Monday. I waited until late Monday to call again, and was told the woman handling my case, Rose, was out and would call me back the next day. The woman I spoke to told me that Rose would call and introduce herself, tell me about the process and an expected time frame, along with how to order death certificates and an urn. Again, I waited until late Tuesday before calling back, as I had received no call. The same woman answered the phone and said they had no contact information for me on file, which seems like it would've been helpful to check for during the initial call. She told me that Rose would call me later that same day. She did not. I called again two days later, on Thursday, and finally got a hold of Rose, almost an entire week after my mother died. She said she hadn't been given any of the messages I had left, which doesn't really seem to explain why she didn't reach out at all, as she was my case manager. She gave me a tentative date for the cremation and said she'd call me back on Monday to let me know an exact date and when I'd be able to pick her up. I received no call on Monday or Tuesday. I tried to call Tuesday afternoon and the number for Tulip wouldn't ring through, despite attempting from three different numbers. Rose sent me an email the next day to let me know that the cremation had already occured and that maybe I could pick her up the next day. The following morning she emailed and said she'd touch base again within an hour. Four hours later, I reached out to see if I could go pick up my mother. After nearly two weeks and exactly one attempt by Rose to initiate contact, I was able to finally pick up my mother's remains. At no point did Rose walk me through the process to get an urn or any death certificates. Losing a parent is tough enough without dealing with a company that can't seem to follow through during such a critical time.
