I planned to do my proposal at the clock tower and was consistently in contact with the event coordinator for about a week. On the day of, we went to drop off some flowers and champagne and was greeted downstairs by the coordinator. She mentioned the 17th floor was being painted and for some reason she didnt know but all the other floors are fine for the event. When we wanted to see the place because we were a bit uncomfortable with the situation, she actively tried to dissuade us by saying she doesnt want us to scare off. We insisted and went inside to find a complete construction site full of paint work and smelling absolutely rancid. The work was still ongoing when we went up there. The top floors were also very recentely painted and were full of furniture in disarray and in no way was ready for an event. I had to get a refund and find another place for the event. Had we not insisted to go see the place, the proposal would have been completely ruined. If there was a lower rating than zero, I would give it that.

Went to see "Ron Ivory's Radio Review". Very nice production! The atmosphere was electric down in the basement of the Clocktower...good show!
