Revel + Bloom

We had an awful experience with Elise. We decided to hire Revel + Bloom because they were referred to us by a mutual friend, but quickly discovered that Elise capitalizes on designs from other event planners and rarely offers original ideas. Her most quoted line is "this is what I've done in the past, so it should work for you". When we challenged her to personalize our wedding to our tastes, she quoted us an increased price, which we agreed to, and we still only received a "mood board" with images that we had previously sent to Elise. As the wedding got closer, her support dwindled and we heard from Elise less and less, leading up to Elise walking away from our wedding the week before it took place (with all of our money). Our team of wedding vendors were shocked at how poorly we had been treated and asked us to let others know. If you want a rinse and repeat wedding, you could consider hiring Elise, but I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere and hire a planner that genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience based on what you dream of, instead of recycling what Elise has taken credit for in the past.

Working with Elise was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She made it a point to ensure our wishes and feedback were heard, and that every detail was carried through to the final day. Her responsiveness, design/taste/aesthetic, attention to detail, calm and confident demeanor, and care for quality made the wedding planning process seamless and fun (!!). The vendors she recommended were top-notch and the team she pulled together was AMAZING. Thanks to Elise, our wedding weekend could not have been more perfect - better than we had dreamed. The Revel + Bloom team was easily the best decision we made in the planning process.

We held our third daughter's wedding in Crested Butte, CO in June 2022. I am still in awe of Elise and her team (and I've planned my other two daughters' weddings in TX and NY). Elise is so cool and calm, while getting a million things done. She is beyond talented in vision and design and, on top of that, detail oriented and very responsive. Working with her was a dream and she literally made our dreams come true.

I honestly do not think my wedding would have come together the way it did without Elise and her amazing team at Revel + Bloom! From the beginning, Elise listened to what we wanted, worked on finding awesome vendors, and bringing the whole day together! She was so easy to work with, responsive, and I had no worries when it came to the actual weekend because I knew she had it under control! I could go on and on because Elise was the BEST! Hands down would recommend her and Revel + Bloom!
