My teen son was dealing with anxiety.  It kept getting worse and we began the arduous task of finding someone he could talk to.  Going through numerous other therapists became frustrating and left him and me in tears never knowing when he would find the proper help.   Dr. Horstman was the final therapist on our list.  Needless to say our prayers were answered.  My son finally found a therapist whom he feels comfortable with sharing his journey.  Dr. Horstman has helped him with his progress and he now has skills that assist him in his time of need and he can move forward in life and not feel he is alone.  So before you call another therapist on your list.  Call Dr. Horstman she will change yours and or son's/daughter's life for the better.

Shalee of the Denver Counseling Group demonstrates very genuine dedication and caring. She makes it clear that her clients are her top concern, and is willing and experienced enough to  change her approach to meet individual needs.  Working with children appears to be her passion and it shows in her caring and approachable demeanor.  Mine and my families experience with her has been a positive one and I would highly recommend her.

Shalee is a well trained and highly educated practitioner. Her broad understanding of different modalities allows her to effectively tailor her practice to what will best resonate with each patient. Shalee is both well educated and thoughtful in her tailoring of care to each individual child and family. She takes time in developing plans with each family to ensure that treatment goals are specific and respects each family's need. Her unique approach using body focused psychotherapy is effective in addressing a whole body treatment.
