We had Distinctive Development remodel our bathroom. They took it down to the studs and went from there. We had a very particular end product in mind and they fulfilled our needs perfectly. Ian and his crew were timely, efficient, and great to work with. If anything did happen to go wrong (as things inevitably do with any project) they were extremely responsive and got it taken care of to our satisfaction. While we were working with them, we decided to upgrade our HVAC system and Ian and his subs took care of that as well. We would highly recommend this company to anyone who asked!

Ian has built numerous houses for me on spec in the Denver Metro area from the ground up over the last few years. Of all the subs I have interacted with and dealt with, he is one of the only ones who understand the level of professionalism and communication required for long‐term success in this business. He has a commitment to the customer, is a good communicator, and does a great job in helping the customer balance quality vs cost with his knowledge of materials. I'd gladly recommend him to others and will continue to use him on our projects moving forward.

I concur with Wayne, Ian remodeling our house was the worse experience of our family's life. Sloppy work, unprofessional. Their sub stole multiple items from our house, there was water damage due the house not properly being sealed during construction, i could go on and on! Ian's cheese-ball father (Patrick Koentges) threatened and screamed in my wife's face after he heard we retained legal counsel. They are the worst of the worst! We planned on that house being our forever house. Distinctive Development ruined that and we sold due to terrible finishes and bad memories.

Beware. Perform a search of legal actions against them via Lexis Nexis before doing business with them.
