Amazing. The trumpeter w 2 trumpets was the MVP of the show. Gave both depth and an auditory anchor point for my mind's ear.

Today was the final performance of our Colorado Symphony Orchestra for Mahler Symphony No.5, Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman written by Joan Tower, and Rounds for Piano and String Orchestra, written by Jesse Montgomery. All were brilliantly conducted by Asher Fisch. Guest pianist, Awadagin Pratt performed with our Colorado Symphony for the Rounds piece. The afternoon began with a taste of what the brilliant horn section had in store for us later. The crowd was thrilled with both Fanfare and the fantastic piano and strings piece so magically executed by Mr. Pratt. This Colorado Symphony is beyond a treasure in our state. Their performance of Mahlers 5th left NOTHING on the table! It was absolutely brilliant!!
