Drove to Denver from Canada for a show at Red Rocks that got cancelled due to high winds. A replacement show was announced at Mission Ballroom, however the email about the pre-sale for the ticket holders of the cancelled Red Rocks show did not arrive until tickets had sold out, which meant we ended up spending more that 2x what we spent on the Red Rocks tickets for a shorter show with less production since we got stuck buying from scalpers on Stub Hub.
We arrived to the venue approximately 20 minutes before doors were supposed to open at 10pm, and stood outside in 50+mph winds for almost an hour before the line started moving, and we did not get into the venue until almost 11:30pm. The wind was so bad that people were getting thing blown into their eyes and faces and many left the line before they finally started letting people in, it was quite hazardous for them to keep ticketholders queuing outside for so long.
Once we were inside the experience was great however, they had cushions available for the balcony seating, plenty of bars which almost never had line-ups, clean and plentiful bathrooms, and water fountains with the bottle fillers. I would definitely recommend this venue and would consider coming back next time I am in Denver.

Nice modern helpful staff not a bad seat in the house. Great acoustics. You should prepay your parking so you can park in the garage that's attached. There is a couple of regular parking lots near by

First time at Mission. Perfect size venue. Great sound. Top notch staff!
