        I've been a part of several churches across the country, and I can definitively say that Journey Point is among the best at serving their community and making God's love known. Journey Point has been wicked welcoming to my wife and I and we've been so encouraged by the amount of love that we've received from the pastor, the staff, and the friends we've made there! If you're looking for a new church that focuses on glorifying God and serving people, this is a great place to visit!

        I would like to thank Journey Point Church for being a continued sponsor of the 4th of July parade at Founders' Green. As always, they had done a great job. Why the one star? I was sitting near the steps of the stage at Founders' Green as they were cleaning up from the most recent breakfast they hosted; I was waiting for my wife and son to come back from seeing the fire engine, and police vehicles. A young man with Journey Point who was helping clean up was making chit chat with the other church members. He went on to openly criticize another Christian faith. I am a member of another Christian faith, but not the one he was lambasting. Everyone is allowed their opinions; however, you are an ambassador of your faith. I had considered looking at Journey Point as a place for my family. No longer. None of the other members tried to deter him. This is all I need to know.

        I found this church over a year ago! The BEST decision I have ever made! Chris Phillips and his team are just Awesome! They are true Christians and Followers of Jesus. This Church has changed my life! I feel a part of God that I have never felt before. Everyone is so friendly and so happy to see you when you worship! I love the fact that we all come from different walks of life and that we are all still Gods children! The no frills part of worshiping is why I love this church! And Journey Points involvement in our community is so Special! It is so nice to know that you can always have a church filled with wonderful leaders that are not only there for you but for your community as well. Please join us for online services and in person services! I know you will feel the love of Jesus like I have!!!!

      Hey Frank, my name is Chris Phillips, the Lead Pastor at Journey Point. I want to apologize for anything that you experienced during time there at the 4th of July parade. That's certainly not anything we encourage or would be okay with if we knew of it from a leadership standpoint. That's one of the hard things about leading people, right, they don't always fully represent the values you try to instill. That's not an excuse by any means, but it is a reality. For this particularly, the people that serve that event are summer interns from all over the country, predominantly the south that we are trying to walk through leadership development and discipleship. They're only here for 8 weeks, so we certainly can't instill everything we'd like. One of the main components we work with them on is the respect of different cultures that are not their own, including Christian faiths and the way they're expressed. I can assure you that speaking down of other expressions is something that myself and our leaders are not okay with and don't promote in any way. Sorry that we were misrepresented by those serving! Again, not an excuse and as the leader, I take full responsibility for whatever transpired, but also wanted to be honest about the situation.
