I have been working with Gheen for my personal as well as business taxes. Our previous CPA was not able to grow with our expanding business and they suggested we work with another firm. It has been an absolute gift to have had this transition with Gheen. They thoroughly evaluated our businesses as well as personal situations and provided us with a detailed and completely custom plan for maximizing our goals. They have been very innovative and knowledgeable. They have assisted us through purchases of other businesses and have been very prompt in any questions or issues that came up. I would give them more stars if I could. Truly exceptional experience working with them.

While I hate to tarnish these guys' prior 5 star streak. I will say that I'm honestly a bit surprised at the lack of any less than perfect 5 star reviews on here...
Given my experience over the years with them managing our business' accounting, my main complaint would be that I find them to be incredibly difficult to get ahold of (Literally every single time for as far back as I can recall). It honestly is quite horrible...
From what I understand this may be the result of understaffing (Always been an issue but does seem to have gotten worse and they do seem to have a lot of turnover lately) causing resources to be spread to thin and availability to customers to scarce.
I honestly cant remember the last time someone answered one of my phone calls (even the mainline - listed in google - which I attempted to call and try every possible routing on earlier today out of desperation after attempting all my contacts over the last few days). So customers are basically limited to emails, voicemails or on online appointment scheduling (if you are fortunate enough to have a link which seem pretty scarce) and Id say as far as getting a response goes: I can generally count on a couple days to a week or so to get a response (sometimes none at all). When it comes to the online appointment scheduling: sounds nice and all but unfortunately timeslots are limited to 30min increments (often not enough time to get through most projects) and from my last few attempts the availability is extremely limited (the last two times I tried there were a total of 3 available 30min slots over the entire upcoming month)... So basically what I am saying is that working with these guys requires incredible patience and keeping your fingers crossed that something urgent doesn't come up (in which case, good luck getting ahold of anybody).
On a positive note: if/when you are able to get ahold of someone they are quite nice, professional and have been a joy to work with. Just seems as though the overall company structure and staffing could use some work.

I found Gheen and Co. by reading TONS of google reviews, and making my choice sight unseen. Let me just say....I am NOT dissapointed! Gheen and Co. has been absolutely and absolute OUTSTANDING value. I had a variety of needs as a small business owner (Pool and Spa Company), and they were able to take care of them ALL! They rebuilt all my business financials since I had started my company in 2016, based on all of the receipts, invoices, etc. They manage my business taxes, personal taxes, sales taxes, helped me navigate PPP as well as stimulus checks, etc since Covid. They have helped me get payroll and benefits setup. I am SO glad I found them when I did. Anytime I have a question or questions, I can text or email my team directly, and I get quick thorough responses, that address all my concerns, and they are more than willing to take the time to explain anything further if needed. I just can't say enough awesome things!
