We were recently visiting Jasper National Park and unfortunately hit a large black bear on Icefields Parkway in our Tesla Model Y. We contacted Tesla and they gave us a list of approved body shops in Canada that could look at our car. We selected Modern Auto Body Repair in Edmonton. It was a Saturday evening and they were closed but we sent them a message through their website and they responded quickly and explained where to drop our car off when we had it towed there the next day - a Sunday. We were so relieved to get a response on a Saturday night because we didnt really want to tow our car somewhere without knowing whether or not they would/could work on it. That was the first bit of good news that we really needed. Then on Monday they took a look at our car and were able to do several diagnostics to determine if the car could be patched up enough to safely drive home to Colorado (1,250+ miles) and do the final repairs there. They determined that we could drive it and they patched it together and repaired a few things. They also cleaned it up - removing bear hair and other dirt. They even vacuumed the inside. The car looked great when we picked it up that afternoon -especially considering all it had been through. We were so happy with their work, their attention to detail, their responsiveness, and their overall helpfulness and kindness. We highly recommend them! Service: Body & Trim
