My experience purchasing a four post Direct Lift from McGee was less than stellar. The woman who took my initial call seemed uninterested in my business. The salesman on the site consultation was nice but was disorganized and not thorough enough. The installation crew was completely unfamiliar with the model I selected because they stated they could not install the power unit on the post indicated in the manufacturer instructions and near the power drop I had installed for that reason. They seemed to struggle to get everything working. Also they placed the lift too close to the door and apparently did not test the door so my first attempt at opening and closing cause the locking handle to catch on the door so I had to move the lift before I could use it. I am pleased with the lift itself; the service was mediocre at best.
