    I had a very negative interaction with Kris Pantoliano, Relationship Banker. I experienced a failed wire I attempted online due to the length of the address. I was told to visit a branch. Upon my arrival at 3:25pm, I was greeted by Kris and ask for assistance with an international wire transfer. He said both of his colleagues were busy and I would have to come back or do it online. I told him the online wire failed which is why I was at the branch. I asked if I could wait, and he said they stop accepting appointments for wires at 3pm, and I would have to come back or schedule an appointment. I was frustrated because customer service did not tell me of this policy. I left work early to arrive at the branch before closure at 4pm. I indicated to Kris, I don't understand, since I am here, why I is waiting for someone to become available not an option. He became agitated and said he didn't appreciate my insults. Surprised, I asked him, what was insulting about asking to wait for help? He said, I don't appreciate your attitude and condescending remarks. Confused, I asked again for him to indicate what specifically about our interaction did he interpret as condescending. He then became visibly angry when he could not provide an example. I then asked for his card and wrote this post. Kris, you need to be able to handle when customers are frustrated. I was neither rude, nor condescending. I was simply annoyed that I was being refused service, 35 minutes before closure. Your lack or empathy with my situation exacerbated what could have been a positive interaction. Your inability to handle, even the smallest amount of pressure, was visible and caused a negative interaction with a 30 year customer and Platinum Honors Tier member.
