We have been working with A & K Appliance Distributing since 2015. Up until 2023 we have had a positive relationship with this business. We have replace many appliances via A & K Appliance Distributing in our rental units. Unfortunately, we have seen a major decline in their customer service and quality of appliances. Most recently we purchased a Dishwasher that obviously was a lemon with 2 service tickets and each service ticket was 2-3 visits over a 2 year period. Their technicians were unable to resolve the issues. Solving one issue creating Their technicians were unable to resolve the issues. Solving one issue creating another issue. Solving one issue creating another issue until the unit was out of warranty it was obvious from the get go that this unit was a lemon, and the whole thing needed to be replaced (2.5 years after purchase) and A&K responses is it is out of warranty and to pay for a new unit. We are happy to replace it if they would work on the pricing with us, put they want to sell another dishwasher at full price. We are very disappointed in their customer service after working with them for over 9 years.

For all those rental property owners that use this service, let me give you my experience with this company. My washing machine had experienced some technical issues 3 times now. I have to contact my property maintenance team to fix the issue each time. They use A&K appliance for their appliance repair needs. The first time my machine needed service there was a strange burning smell coming from it and it would not complete a cycle. I assumed the belt had burned up so I contacted my propertys maintenance crew to send out a technician. A&K appliance came and repaired the machine no problem. The same issue happened again, without the burning smell. The same technician came out and replaced the computer in the machine. The most recent issue was the same thing, the washing machines computer wouldnt complete the cycleso I contacted my propertys maintenance team again. They called A&K appliance to come and diagnose the problem, sent the same technician, and he told me he would report back to his part provider and I should have a new computer installed within 2 weeks. A month went by and I hadnt heard anything from them until I called my propertys maintenance manager and he told me they lost the work order. So A&K appliance sent out the same technician to diagnose the same problem and order the same parts a 2nd time. Now youre probably wonderingwell if you had the machine repaired 3 times now and one of the times they actually lost the work orderwhy would you give them a 5 star rating. Ill tell you. His name is Jesse. Hes the technician they sent out every time to fix the machine and hes wonderful. I know he cant control the fact that were probably working with a faulty appliance and I know he cant control his management team to ensure they place the work order, but when he comes over and repairs the machine we always have a great conversation and he does his best to be compassionate and friendly. Thats all we really want in life is to feel like our concerns are validated. I dont care that the machine is faulty, I dont care that his management team lost the work order, I dont care that I had to wait nearly 2 months to have a working washing machine. I care about Jesse. And I hope one day A&K appliance realize what they have when he comes and repairs machines. Hes the face of that company and a kind, caring, and professional face to have. I appreciate your hard work, my friend. Washing my clothes as I write this review. Thank you.
